Unable to create "Malware detection alerts" in SCCM 2007

Hi.

We recently moved our SCCM 2007 installation and subsequently had to reconfigure/reinstall parts of it, among the parts to be reinstalled was the Forefront Endpoint Protection part.  Now for most parts this has gone fine, but I realized that all our previous "Malware detection alerts" (emails) had gone missing so they needed to be recreated.

However, when I right click "Malware Detection Alerts" there is no "New ......" but only "Give Feedback", View, New Windows from here, refresh, help"....

So something is either misconfigured or missing, and I'd hate to go through the process of removing and then re-installing the FEP part.

Any idea?

:-(

Hi Nick.

Thanks for your reply and the guide, I know this is how it's supposed to work however as I tried to explain then the "New" is missing from the right-click menus, so I simply can't create new alerts, when I right click I only get the options i described :-/  it seem like something is missing or broken!?  however I REALLY would like to avoid having to reinstall the whole thing again with the risk of mession things up here during vacation time :-(

Hi all,

I have the same issue. Does anybody know what is the solution?

I've checked the link what Nick Gu posted above, but there is no "New" option in the actions pane.

Thanks for any help.
